Louis Vuitton launches paper doll collection

Louis Vuitton is getting into the toy business, sort of. The famed fashion designer is coming out with his own line of paper dolls. Style Bistro released the photos of the paper dolls on Jan. 3.

Kerrie Hess is the illustrator for the dolls. They include cutouts of clothing and accessories. There are also four different models in the collection. Women young and old can mix and match the clothing however they like.

One collection includes a brown tweed jacket, a black monogrammed handbag and a blue graphic print dress. Another includes a blue peasant top and denim skinny jeans. These watercolor works of art represent the designer's upcoming spring 2013 ready-to-wear collection.

The best thing about these LV paper dolls is that they're free. Budding fashion designers can print them out and start playing with them. They're available at the Louis Vuitton website. It looks like this collection will give Barbie a run for her money.
