Although Valentine’s Day is right around the corner for the lads of One Direction, Entertainmentwise reported this Saturday, Feb. 9, that Louis Tomlinson is finding the distance in his love life a “little daunting” while dating girlfriend Eleanor Calder. X Factor ITV also added this Saturday that the single Niall Horan enjoyed a fun night with Liam Payne backstage at the “X Factor” U.K. concert this week.
Although many One Direction fans are no doubt excited for 1D’s upcoming “Take Me Home” world tour, Louis Tomlinson and the other lads may be missing their girlfriends along the way. Louis said that long distance relationships are tough, but worth it — and he has every intention of still staying close with girlfriend Eleanor Calder.
“It’s a little daunting … But at the end of the day if you want it to work, it’ll work. [Long-distance dating] just requires probably more effort. If you’re heart is in it, you’re not going to mess about.”
Niall Horan may not have a date for Valentine’s Day (yet, as he did flirt with a talk show guest this week, posting a "hello" photo on Twitter), but he did enjoy his bachelorhood this week, attending “The X Factor” U.K. concert in London.
The two are expected to join fellow mate Louis this Feb. 22 with the start of their “Take Me Home” world tour.
