There are none so enslaved as those who willingly place themselves into bondage. Most ex staff and Sea Org members will tell you that Scientology is slavery. Sea Org staff make fifty dollars or less a week for working eighty hours or more. Regular staff make a little more usually but they do not have room and board so must live communally.
Minister Louis Farrakhan has announced that the Nation of Islam is now married to the Church of Scientology. He recently told his flock that no one may be a leader in the Nation unless and until they have attained the Scientology state of Clear. Dianetics states that a person's awareness is influenced by the stimulus-response of the reactive mind. Achieving the state of Clear means a person has overcome the reactive mind and is in complete control of their analytical mind. According to Hubbard: "A Clear is a being who no longer has his own reactive mind, and therefore suffers none of the ill effects the reactive mind can cause. The Clear has no engrams which, when restimulated, throw out the correctness of his computations by entering hidden and false data." It is estimated that the cost of reaching the Clear state in Scientology is $128,000.
One thing Minister Farrakhan has not told his flock is that while he has been preaching the word of Mohamed, he has been involved in Scientology for over thirty years. What is known is that he has had Auditing (Scientology counseling), The Dianetics course, the Scientology Purification Rundown (which is supposed to clean the body of toxins and radiation) and the PTS/SP course (which teaches a person how to disconnect from family and friends who may not be pro-Scientology). The reason for this is that until recently, he has not had a wide enough power base to work with him on his latest project. He now wants to build an Org (Scientology for church), in Chicago to rival the Mecca of Scientology in Clearwater, Florida.
Another thing you can bet is that he has not, as yet told his followers is that he and his close underlings will be getting a 10% commission on any people they get onto paid Scientology services. You may also be assured that he has not told any of his minions that L. Ron Hubbard was a devout racist. In a letter to his first wife Polly, Hubbard wrote "You shouldn't be scrubbing the floor on your hands and knees. Get yourself a nigger; that's what they're born for."
