Humor is the theme of the week. It is far too easy to take our 21st century lives so seriously that we lose sight of the karmic irony and humor that surrounds. It’s important to remember not take things so seriously that we cut ourselves off from this important source of renewal - humor.

Mark Twain observed that “humor is mankind’s greatest and blessing”. The ability to look beyond what appears to be an insurmountable obstacle today to the possibilities that exist tomorrow with a smile can often make the difference between success and failure. Or, as Mel Brooks has noted: “Humor is just another defense against the universe”.

Sometimes karma itself dictates that the path we follow will have pitfalls and stumbles. It is these moments that remind us not to take life so seriously that we overlook the simple beauty of a sunrise, the warmth of a smile, or pleasure of knowing that we can arise again and again like the spiritual phoenix that each of us is. Humor is, at one time, both a shield and a sword against the darkness of today. Be in the world but not bound by it, laugh at its follies and continue your joyful journey on your karmic path.

ARIES - It is important this week to understand what your role really is both at work and at home.

TAURUS - Facing the past is highlighted this week. If you've been haunted by your past, this will be an important step to further your future.

GEMINI - Organize your priorities this week. You can't do everything at once. You may get to re-visit old relationships and situations that need attention.
