Introducing the Lotus C-01 superbike..."a state of the art technology with a truly jaw-dropping aesthetic," creator Dr. Colin Kolles of Kodewa said. The impressive prototype superbike took two years to make and is now being recognized as an advanced piece of machinery. Motorcycle enthusiasts are taking notice of this sleek-looking, gorgeous bike.
I4U.com reports Feb. 24 that Kodewa built the Lotus C-01 superbike and the license was through Group Lotus. The motorcycle has a V twin engine and has a carbon fiber body that also consists of titanium and NASA-quality steel.
The Lotus superbike was designed by Daniel Simon of The Holzer Group and he helped in the construction of it. It will come in a variety of styles and is said to be "sheer heaven" to ride.
“The design process of the C-01 was a labor of love, there were many challenges, ensuring that the bike not only touches your visual senses with its timeless blend of classic appeal and modern execution, but that is safe and ergonomically sound was critical to me," Simon said. "We have worked hard to create a motorcycle with very distinctive features such as a clean main body, an extremely low side profile, a bold stance, a unique air intake, logical partline solutions and clean graphics.”
CEO of Holzer Group, Gunther Holzer, was one of the very first people to test the Lotus C-01 superbike and he was amazed.
“I was one of the first people to ride it and I have to say I was very impressed," Holzer said. "Together we have found that delicate balance between raw, aggressive power and breath-taking handling. The team has created something very special, it looks incredible, it sounds fantastic but above all, the ride is sensational. I’m very happy.”
It certainly sounds like the Lotus C-01 superbike will win over the most discriminating of motorcycle owners and fans. No expense or quality was spared in the creation of this marvel two-wheeled ride!
