The 2011 races are January 30th, with a combined participant cap of 22,000. (11,000 for each race.) Fees for the marathon are $115 and the half are set at $95. To enter the lottery, runners must register at during a 17-day period starting at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 27 and extending to 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, August 12. Participants for each race will be announced on Tuesday, August 17.

Registration for the El Paso Corporation 5K will open in September.

There are also a limited number of entries available through a "Heroes" charity registration with a minimum donation. The official Run for a Reason charities will be announced on June 15, 2010.
