On Thursday, November 10, 2011, a 36-year-old man from the United States shared a video on YouTube that allegedly shows a UFO over Elkhart, Indiana. According to the man's description of the video, the vintage footage was recorded many years ago by a neighbor using 8mm film.
Amishfella (aka Nasty Amishman) posted the video "Lost footage of alien craft over Elkhart Indiana" along with the following explanation:
"There was an old man in our neighborhood who died last year. He was eccentric and said that he had footage on an old 8mm of a UFO. Nobody ever saw it until now. This is real and the video was purchased at an estate sale."
The video lasts a mere 15 seconds and shows a UFO slowly move into frame before changing direction and disappearing from view. The color footage is clear enough that the shape of the UFO is clearly visible. The unidentified flying object is round with a large circular light in the center of its bottom. There is a ring of oval-shaped lights that surrounds the light in the middle.
