“Lost” alum Josh Holloway is making his way back to television. He has signed on to star in a drama pilot for CBS called “Intelligence.” Deadline first reported the exciting news on Feb. 11 that the actor has scored his own gig on the network's fall lineup of new shows.
This project is based on an unpublished book,“Dissident” by John Dixon. The setting is centered around the US Cyber Command. Holloway takes the lead to play the role of Gabriel Black, a former Navy SEAL and an intelligence officer, who has a microchip implanted in his brain that gives him complete access to the entire electromagnetic spectrum. This pilot is written by Michael Seitzman and directed by David Semel. This sounds like a great role for the “Lost” star.
Josh Holloway was a favorite as Sawyer on the hit ABC drama that ended in 2010. Since then, the 43-year-old actor has had a guest appearance on “Community” and also a role on “Mission: Impossible-Ghost Protocol.” He joins most of his “Lost” co-stars that have graced TV screens lately, including Jorge Garcia and Michael Emerson. It’s now Holloway’s turn to see what he can do with this new CBS pilot.
Does “Intelligence” sound like an interesting plot for Josh Holloway?
