OMG. I know it’s not PC to start an article with a texting abbreviation, but once you see this new LOST promo, the only thing that will be coming out of your mouth is OMG! (Thanks to DarkUFO for posting. If you have difficulty viewing the embedded video in this article, please visit their link.)
Finally, a Season 6 LOST promo that gets me *excited* about old footage! The Charles Widmore voiceover opens with “Once upon a time,” and gives me the mind-set of being told a great story … not just a show but an expertly written, carefully crafted, character-driven story of epic proportions. All the i’s are dotted, the t’s crossed, and the random clues thrown out along the way coming together in crescendo. A tale so rich that it envelopes the viewer and makes them forget the world around them as they are completely caught up in the imaginings of the storyteller. That’s what LOST has become for me. That's what I'm looking for in the final season.
The island. The event. The mystery. Everything you questioned. Yes! Aaron, polar bears, Boone, the hatch, the details I wondered if they’d ever go back to. The sense of nostalgia and the yearning for answers still outweighing the sadness of knowing this is the final season.
It only. Ends. Once.
“Fasten Seat Belt,” Season 6 of LOST begins Feb. 2, 2010.

Your opinion counts: What are your thoughts on the new spot? Is the suspense building for the final season even without new footage? Or would you rather be spoiled? Do you think Darlton will ever be able to answer all your questions on the last five years?
