It’s never been a secret that Kenzi is on Team Dyson, and in this episode, people start actually calling her out on in. This is a good thing. There has needed to be more of an explanation as to why Kenzi dislikes Lauren, and this episode is a step in the right direction. Kenzi and Lauren even have a couple moments where they act like friends instead of people who tolerate one another. Hopefully the writers continue building Lauren and Kenzi’s relationship, or at least continue to have the two of them talk about why they dislike each other. Did you like seeing some one on one Kenzi and Lauren scenes?

The Morrigan is on a mission to kill Bo. So far all she has done is completely wear out Bo and Kenzi. Because of this, Bo goes to the Ash. That’s right, it’s time to see Hale in Ash mode. This is fantastic to see, especially his showdown with the Morrigan. The writers have created a great opportunity for Hale, and this is the first time they have really started to show it. It would be great to see Hale take over a big part of an episode or even shown more of what everyone thinks of Hale as the Ash. He has really only had a few scenes with our favorite fae group since taking the position. Did you like seeing more of Hale as the Ash?

Here are quick thoughts on elsewhere in the episode. The infection proves to be wickedly entertaining, and what’s better is the writers use this to focus on Tamsin and Bo. Yes, there are some Bo and Dyson moments, but there are also some great Tamsin and Bo ones. It will be interesting to see how soon Bo and Tamsin remember about what happened because then they could share with the audience about their deepest darkest secrets. Vex is struggling being human, so to speak. He still can’t get his powers to work, and so for all intents and purposes, he is human. Apparently he and Kenzi have become quite good friends, and it is absolutely fantastic. It’s an unusual friendship, that’s for sure, and it would have been nice to see a little bit more of it before he leaves. What did you think of the episode overall?
