Bo is back, and she seems to have strayed over to the dark side, at least that is what the writers want you to think. Bo going bad is very believable considering how the season two finale ended, and it is great that the writers played with this a bit before revealing that it is all an act for a case. The opening of this episode makes it seem like Bo is enjoying this evil ride, and maybe perhaps on some level she did. Hopefully the writers will continue to slowly explore Bo’s very real dark side. She is a little more dangerous than before, and it will be great to see the writers play with that. Bo’s powers could be pulling her to the dark side a little unwillingly or she could be very happy to be there. What do you think is in store for Bo?
There is something shady happening at Hecuba, a light fae female prison. Now it takes a minute to get clued in on the details of the case. It seems like the disappearance of Lauren’s mentor, the prison doctor at Hecuba, is what tipped our favorite fae crime fighting team off, and Hale, the interim Ash, is the mastermind of the plan. Basically the writers are not too focused on explaining how the plan to get Bo into the prison came to be; the real point is that she is there now. Unfortunately this does cause some confusion. The case itself is very entertaining and interesting. Silvie serves as a great way to educate Bo and the viewers on the history of Hecuba and the Amazon guards. Did you enjoy Bo’s stint at prison?
It’s a new season, and everyone seems to be up to something. The writers manage to plant clues as to what has been going on with everyone since the Garuda battle. It would have been nice to have a little bit of an explanation on some things, like how Hale became the interim Ash. Hopefully the writers will show him as acting Ash for a bit (and maybe even as full fledge Ash?) because it will be interesting to see how he fits into everything now that he is no longer partners with Dyson. This could be an interesting way to mix things up. Speaking of mixing things up, Bo is going monogamous! Interesting doesn’t even begin to cover that twist. Can a succubus stay tied to one very gorgeous female doctor?
