When a rumor that President Obama’s State of Union Address may be aired February 2, the same night as the first episode of Lost, the Final Season premiered...Lost fans across the country panicked.
Lost fans took to the internet in a quick rebellion, created a Facebook page and several thousand people joined in protest.
To everyone’s relief White House spokesman, Robert Gibbs said he doesn’t foresee a scenario in which President Obama’s State of the Union address will fall on the same night in February.
So Lost fans in every state of this country can now rejoice that their show will not be preempted.
“Americans Against the State of the Union on the Same Night as LOST” Facebook group had more than 4,600 members, and several thousand comments. While the “Obama is more Important than Lost” Facebook group had two members, and one comment.

There has been some controversy over the past few days about this photo and who is sitting in what position and what each position means.
