Dr. Del shares in the Health and Fitness T.O.D.A.Y Feb 9th, 2012 issue of Inglewood Today, tips that promote healthy eating and fat burning workouts. Strength Trainer Dr. Del says that it is important to build new lean muscle tissue, which in turn will increase the metabolism which will create the desired lean look. Dr. Del dismisses the notion of someone becoming excessively bulky as a result of strength training, in fact he encourages engaging in a weight lifting, increasing the amount of weight every week. He says it's important to increase the weight, because not doing so is a waste of time.
Dr. Del also kicks out the "fat-burning zone" myth. He says there is no such thing as a fat burning zone, and that research has shown that high intensity strength training is a more effective way to improve the body mass index. According to Dr. Del, the fitter one is the more efficiently their body will burn fat. With an increase of the weight training and aerobic exercise, one will be fitter in one month, and stronger then they were when they started.
A flatter tummy is a desire among individuals all over. For years, many people have wanted great abs but have never seemed to achieve them even without practicing crunches. Dr. Del says that crunches do not result in great looking abs. He says working on the core is the most important part of ones resistant training program. Dr. Del shares that holding a plank position for 30 seconds is superior to doing one hundred crunches. This is more effective because the more muscle groups one can engage the better the core results will be.
