Los Angeles International Airport can soon add a new airline to it's international arrivals board.
The fuel-efficient Dreamliner has low operating costs and is considered best-suited for long-haul flights, which translate to lower airfares for customers..
Norwegian Air will commence it's inaugural service from Los Angeles International to Stockholm-Arlanda Airport in Sweden. The inaugural flight is set to depart Los Angeles at 6:30pm local on March 1st, and arrive Stockholm-Arlanda the next day at 2:10pm local.
Flights between Los Angeles and Stockholm-Arlanda will be twice a week, and flights to Copenhagen will be three times a week with the first flight to Copenhagen departing March 2nd. Introductory fares from Los Angeles to Scandinavia start as low as $245 each way and can be purchased at Norwegian.com
The Oslo-based, low-cost carrier already offers flights from select Scandinavian cities to New York and Ft. Lauderdale, and plans to add flights to Orlando and Oakland in 2014.
