Los Angeles offers stranded UK travelers some free tours and museum visits

If volcanic ash is clogging your travel these days, there are worst places to be stranded than the beautiful beaches and mountains of  Los Angeles. The LA Convention and Visitors Bureau is offerring additional free entertainment to UKers who want more LA lore and culture.  Of course locals and all visitors might also enjoy going from dinosaur bones to vintage cars to Picassos to Morris chairs and then on to tours of Hollywood highlights.


WHAT:  The Los Angeles Convention & Visitors Bureau announces today that the following museums will provide complimentary admission/tickets to UK passport holders stranded in Los Angeles as a result of the cancellation of airline flights because of the recent Iceland volcano.

WHEN: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 23-25, 2010 only

Starline Tours will also provide UK passport holders with sightseeing tours of Hollywood and Los Angeles. Two tour buses will pick up these travelers today at 1:30 p.m. at Radisson Hotel  at Los Angeles Airport
