May 28, 2011 – Puerto Rican singer of romantic Salsa, Victor Manuelle, performed at the Bonaventure Hotel, in downtown LA, on the first night of the Los Angeles Salsa Congress.
Hundreds of fans stood by the stage in the hopes of a good picture, perhaps even a handshake. Hundreds more filled the wooden floors placed in the spacious “San Francisco Ballroom,” on the second floor of the hotel, turning to every note of his contagious songs.
The Los Angeles Salsa Congress continues until Sunday. New York based group Latin Vibes will perform tonight Saturday. Tickets can still be purchased at the door. Details on the event at http://www.mysalsacongress.com
Note: Parking at the Bonaventure Hotel is not recommended. All day parking at $10 is available Saturday and Sunday at City National Bank – 400 S. Flower St.
