The Los Angeles Lakers continue to hit one road bump after another this season as their frustrations continued on Feb. 7, 2013, with more bad news. Despite the rumors that Dwight Howard and/or Pau Gasol could be traded before the deadline, it appears that neither will be going anywhere.
Howard was told yesterday on Feb. 6, 2013, by the Lakers front office that he would not be going anywhere. However, that is primarily because of the fears that were confirmed this morning in regards to the injury to Pau Gasol.
The forward went down earlier in the week and MRI results according to ESPN have confirmed that he has a tear in his plantar fascia and will be out for a minimum of four to six weeks.
That news gives the struggling Howard even more reassurance that his place is safe in LA for now, but with Kobe Bryant and other players on the team starting to get frustrated by the team's struggles this season who knows how it will all end.
