The 2013 NHL season begins in less than a month. On Sep 10, 2013 the Los Angeles Kings officially announced their schedule for the first six days of training camp which open on Sep 12.
Training camp will be held at Toyota Sports Center, located at 555 Nash St, in El Segundo.
All sessions are open to the public.
*This year's camp will mark the return of defenseman Willie Mitchell. A knee injury kept Mitchell sidelined all of last season. In an exclusive interview with Robin Kirk of Inside Sports, Mitchell expressed his burning desire to get back out on the ice - He normally spends his offseason in British columbia, but spent this offseason in southern Cal, training and making sure his injured knee would be sturdy enough for training camp. Mitchell was an integral part of the Kings' 2012 championship team, skating regular shifts with Slava Voynov. Mitchell also spoke of his charity organization in British Columbia, which has raised $9 mil over the past eight years - Mitchell's Canada-based program benefits autistic children.
