The fourth annual Los Angeles Food & Wine Festival kicks off tomorrow! From August 21-24, enjoy bites, drinks, cooking demonstrations and more in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. Presented by FOOD & WINE magazine, this festival promises to bring together over 100 of the culinary world’s most recognized names. Famous faces will include Chefs Richard Blais, Michael Chiarello, Elizabeth Falkner, Lorena Garcia, Antonia Lofaso, Brian Malarky and many more.
Several live culinary demonstrations will take place during the festival, among the presenters are former Top Chef contestant Richard Blais, Iron Chef Morimoto, Latina celebrity chef, Lorena Garcia and Scarpetta Chef, Scott Conant. Highlights of the festival include the LEXUS Grand Tasting which will take place Saturday and Sunday from 12:00pm – 3:00pm. At this extravagant event, guests can enjoy over 300 wines, 25 celebrity chef food samplings, as well as book signings and photo sessions with your favorite chefs. On Saturday night, Chef Michael Chiarello will host the LEXUS Live on Grand, which will feature a performance by Grammy-award winning artist, Common.
Events will take place throughout the Los Angeles community, from Beverly Hills to Santa Monica, but the majority of the festivities will occur on Grand Avenue, and at venues like the Dorothy Chandler Pavillion, Vibiana, and LA Center Studios. Events and meals start at $50 and can run all the way up to $500. VIP packages for early admission and VIP-only cooking demonstrations are also available.
