For two years I’ve worked in a hospital that specializes in treating patients with cancer. I’ve seen more types of cancer than one person could ever fear. The ugly “c” word can turn your life upside down, whether you are the patient or the loved one of a patient. We’ve all been there. We all know someone (or are someone) whom is trying to survive some form of cancer. I’ve seen people, young and old(er) taken far too soon. Let’s take a look at the event being held on March 23rd, 2013 in Los Angeles to benefit the Brenda Mehling Cancer Fund http://www.BMCF.net
Comedy Cures Cancer is a special screening of webisodes “Channel Surfing” created by actor, producer and writer, as well as his most important title, Cancer Survivor, Paul Lauden. Paul has kicked this ugly disease into the past and has focused his energy into something positive, creating an old-fashioned sketch comedy with a modern twist. Check out http://www.ChannelSurfingOnline.com.
This happens to be another project that my dear friend, Collin Pelton, whom you’ve met in two of my previous articles, happens to be working on. http://www.collinpelton.com
