Hate going to the crowded gym? Do you prefer to workout outdoors and take in the Los Angeles cityscape while you burn those calories? Well ladies, then Los Angeles Adventure Boot Camp is definitely for you. This women only group is a four week outdoor program offering fitness instruction by Certified FItness Trainers, nutritional counseling, and motivational training to all participants. The workouts are about an hour long and happen Monday through Friday in the mornings at the Pan Pacific Park located at 7600 Beverly Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90036. (map)
They expect results such as a 3 to 5 percent reduction in body fat, 5-12 pound weight loss, 25 percent improvement in strength, and 25 percent improvement in endurance among other added benefits of exercise. There are additional programs at Hancock Park and Burns Park, if you are interested, as well.
