The Los Angeles Adobe User Group community will come together for a special Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 launch event on Friday, June 3rd from 6pm to 10pm at the offices of Almer/Blank in Venice.
Paul Trani, one of Adobe's premier speakers and Developer Evangelists, will discuss the breakthrough features of the CS 5.5 new release. He will demonstrate techniques for maximizing productivity with Flash and HTML5, new features for mobile industry designing/developing, and much more. Furthermore, at this extraordinary event, Adobe's Aaron Houston will conduct a Q&A regarding Creative Suite's new features and Adobe's products.
As a massive LA Adobe User Group conglomeration, LAdobe, Adobe Illustrator Los Angeles, LA Web Professionals Group, Digital Media Artists Los Angeles, and LA Flash are all collaborating for this special celebration, which will be one of the largest Adobe events in Southern California this summer. This exciting, free-of-charge event will provide uniquely excellent networking and educational opportunities.
The Santa Monica based catering company G.F.C. Good Food Catering will provide free food as a sponsor for this event. In addition, there will be food and drinks from Function Drinks, food from Cookie Good, beer and wine courtesy of the Calabasas/Malibu Wine and Food Festival, and special raffle prizes including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator licenses, Alien Skin plugins, books, and possibly even a license of CS 5.5.
The celebration will continue after the Adobe event at the popular Venice First Fridays block party, which features art, music, and festivities on Abbot Kinney.
