The Listening Room has a nice laid back feel in the Historic Cummings Station an intimate stage setting with comfortable seating couches and tables to choose from friendly staff and excellent hospitality the south is renowned for very enjoyable. The sets are nicely done with original material that highlights the messages and meanings of the stories the songs tell and great instrumentation that does not crowd the lyrics but shines that rhythmic and emoting vibe that gives solid punch to the experience. The blend of vocalist’s harmony is one of the strengths of the band very adept at finding the ranges which please the ear and captures the audience’s attention. The first song of the set kicked off with” Love Like This” Diane King Original nice Dobro introduction with a bit of jazzy, feel laced with a nice sweet harmony that introduced the listener to range and depth the performers can share. The show had a variety of songs ballads such as “ Hills of Home” which paints a timeless picture of Appalachia and blends the picturesque scene of framing life experiences soothed by the sweetness of the rural americana pace.
