2013 has been quite a spectacular year for New Zealand born-and-bred teen, Lorde. Between her chart-topping debut, Pure Heroine, and a handful of Grammy nominations, including Song of the Year for her controversial hit "Royals," she's been a breakthrough sensation whose cultural impact has drawn parallels to Nirvana.
To follow up on all of her acclaim, the seventeen-year-old, whose real name is Ella Yelich-O'Connor, is embarking on a North American tour in 2014. The fifteen-show trek kicks off in Austin on Monday, March 3, and ends on Wednesday, March 26, at Fox Theatre in Oakland. Tickets for her final performance go on sale this Thursday, December 19, at 10:00 AM PST (password: mockingbird) while general admission passes will be available the next day at the same time.
