Lord of the Void is one of the newest "Magic: The Gathering" cards spoiled today Jan. 14, 2013 from Wizards of the Coast's upcoming expert expansion set "Gatecrash." Revealed in an article by Jules Robins on GatheringMagic.com, Lord of the Void can rip into your opponent's library and steal one of their creatures.
Lord of the Void - 4BBB
Creature - Demon (Mythic Rare)
Whenever Lord of the Void deals combat damage to a player, exile the top seven cards of that player's library, then put a creature card from among them onto the battlefield under your control.
Lord of the Void's lack of trample means it can be blocked all day long by Spirit tokens from Lingering Souls or Moorland Haunt. You'll want to slap a Rancor on this Demon to ensure it deals combat damage to your opponent.
Lord of the Void shines in Commander where it's able to sneak it into play with Kaalia of the Vast.
How will you use Lord of the Void?
