Celebrating nearly 12 years of enthralling audiences across the globe, Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance is returning to Albuquerque. For those who have not had the privilege of attending, the show tells the tale of the character of Don Dorcha (The Lord of Darkness) from Irish folklore as he challenges the Lord of the Dance in a spectacle of vibrant dance and music. While Michael Flatley no longer appears in the title role, the traveling cast never leaves the audience disappointed. A precise, almost mechanical cast of talented dancers, vocalists who tug at the heartstrings and amazing musicians make this a show not to be missed.
Some praise for Lord of the Dance includes "Genius on tap!" from The London Times. The Across the Arts blog calls the show an "entertaining evening of Irish talent, tradition and majesty."
