The historic Lord Baltimore Hotel and The Classic Catering People have announced a unique collaboration in which Classic Catering People will serve as the exclusive caterer for the Lord Baltimore Hotel.
A Baltimore company with more than 40 years of experience in the arenas of social and corporate catering, Classic Catering People believes that a passion for food is at the base of every event. Along with talented account executives and catering staff, Classic Catering has an accomplished culinary team of inventive chefs that continually craft new menus with traditional and contemporary flavors as well as presentations.
Purchased last spring by Rubell Hotels, The Lord Baltimore is currently undergoing a total renovation to restore its prominence as one of the most significant hotels in Baltimore. Renovations to The Calvert Ballroom will be completed by mid-February, The new LB Tavern (which replaces the Lobby bar), the LB Bakery, a new gift shop and health club will be completed by mid-April.
In December 2013, the hotel’s first new restaurant, The French Kitchen, opened under the direction of Chef Jordan Miller who will continue to oversee its operation. Chef Miller will also oversee the food operations of the LB Tavern and Lord Baltimore Bakery, both of which will be opening in the coming months.
