If you're looking for cheap airline tickets to the French Riviera, you'll want to check out online travel agencies Travelocity and Priceline, because they've both launched new features this week that can help you find the best deals on airfare, hotel rooms and guarantee you're getting the lowest possible prices.
For example, Travelocity has a new hotel guarantee: If you book a hotel room through them - and then find the same offer for less money online - up to the day of your check-in - you'll not only get a refund for the difference, but until December 31, you'll also get a $50 credit toward your next booking.
To level the playing field a little more (and perhaps to strengthen their competitive advantage against their main competitors Priceline, Orbitz and Expedia), Travelocity also got rid of their $25 change and/or cancellation fees for customers who book hotel rooms or regular vacations packages with them.
As for priceline, they've got a new iPhone app which lets you "name-your--own-price" and bid and book your hotel on the go, right from your phone. Their Hotel Negotiator app is free, and you can find the most recent bids on the hotel of your choice just by typing in the city name... Then you can either choose from the drop-down menu (of the top-50 U.S. destinations), or just shake your phone to find a hotel in your current location.
We're waiting to find out when the app will expand to include the top global locations - so you can bid and book your hotel on the French Riviera!

My first answer was, "Yes!" but then I realized I can't get away right now. The French Rivera is a classic destination, however, and really a lovely place.
