Looking at week number three of those New Year's resolutions

The New Year is still new, but the resolutions we made may already seem so yesterday and never-mind. How are you coming along with yours? I’m doing okay on that eating better promise but not as well as I could be. I finished a lunch of chopped salad and then downed three macadamia and milk chocolate lacey cookies. I wish I could run the film backward but admit that even if I could I’d probably gobble down the same three cookies, Groudhog Day being what it is and those cookies being absolutely fabulous.

But, do I really need to eat better? Do I need to listen more and talk less? Do I need to spend less time on the computer? Well, yes, yes and yes! But I keep forgetting. I need more of a friendly non-judgmental reminder of the promises I, and about 33% of other Americans, made. Anyhoo, in case you are having “issues,” as they say, with your resolutions or want to add any new ones, remember the Greenlind wallpaper you can design from their template. You can choose one or design one tailor-made to your own troublesome or quirky need like learning Boolean Algebra just for the fun of it or mastering Chinese or French language with Joel Pimsleur.

We know what we need to do; it is just so darned hard to keep an eye on this bouncing ball of promises as it skitters away behind the veil of what seems to be more pressing daily events. Remember that the resolutions you made on January 1st are in your own best interest.

Good luck with success as week number three of the New Year begins. Vegetable soup and fresh fruit for dinner? I’m counting on it. If I stay on track for the next three weeks, I’ll send myself a love note to say, “good for you!” That's important and should be a whole other resolution. Really. Fingers crossed.

From me to you with love in the air,
Janet
