With Spring Training now underway, let's turn our attention toward the Tulsa Drillers and what will be awaiting fans at ONEOK Field this season.
In this article, I'll be breaking down the final few weeks of the Drillers schedule, focusing on the months of August and September. Tulsa has 13 homes games in August and just two games in September, with both September matchups coming on the road at Springfield, including the regular-season finale on Labor Day ... a matinee against the Cardinals.
Tulsa opens the month of August with four consecutive games at Northwest Arkansas. After an off day on Monday, August 5 (the first of three straight Mondays off for the Drillers), Tulsa returns to action against the Texas League South Division, hosting Midland and Frisco for three games each in the last South Division appearances of the year at ONEOK Field. Tulsa will then have a travel day on Monday, August 12, before opening the return three-game series at Midland and Frisco.
Tulsa's final homestand of the season begins on Tuesday, August 20, and will feature four games against Arkansas and three versus Springfield, including the home regular-season finale on Monday, August 26.
The Drillers conclude the regular season with four games at Northwest Arkansas and three at Springfield.

Scheduling notesOverall, the Texas League will again play a 140-game split season, with the first half concluding on June 19.
Tulsa will play a total of 70 home games with 41 of games occurring on a Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. The Drillers will play 14 home games during the month of April, 15 in May, 11 in June, 17 in July, and 13 in August.
The normal starting time for evening games at ONEOK Field will remain at 7:05 p.m. Sunday home games in April, May, and June (with the exception of May 26) will begin at 2:05 p.m., while Sunday games the remainder of the year will have the standard start time of 7:05 p.m.
