I first encountered Tilley through their endurable hat collection and casual travel clothing lines. While travel clothes can be quite comfortable and wrinkle free, I find they tend not to be dressy enough for me to wear to to a business meeting or semi-formal dinner. But recently I discovered some of Tilley's dressier wrinkle resistant knitwear that can withstand a full day sitting in a plane. I can then emerge and head straight to my scheduled activity without having to freshen up at the hotel first.
Here's three items that worked especially well for my full figured petite frame.
The strategic darts on Tilley's Ponte di Roma blazer fit my form without feeling restricted. Additional featureas that add a feminine touch that include a notched collar, 3-button placket and two front pockets with flap and button closures. The jacket's white/black mosaic pattern coordinates with just about any solid skirts, pants and shirts. In addition,I can button up the jacket and wear it as a heavy shirt or I can dress it down by donning a pair of stretch jeans.
Then I pair this jacket with their travel jersey sleeveless top with a slit neckline and stand collar. This shirt made from 93% polyester and 7% Spandex stretches as I move, As an added bonus, this fabricis treated with UV protection—the black and brown colors are rated UPF 50+ and the ivory color is rated UPF 25.
Finally, I finish off this professional look with Tilley's Jersey Swing Skirt. The skirt's multiple panels falls right below my knees and skims my body, thus giving this skirt a more dressy skirt than a simple straight skirt. Also this skirt contains a flip-out secret pocket so I can store any valuables.
All of these items can be washed and then left to dry overnight so I can keep my packing to a minimum.
