Dollywood has some exciting new things in store for it's visitors in 2013. Dolly says, "2013 is all about making more...more quality time, more smiles, more laughs, more splashes, more happy!" Dolly encourages families to make time for what matters most...spending time together.
Dollywood plans to make it easier for visitors to have more of all the fun things that make Dollywood the perfect vacation spot. They'll be extending their hours for 6 weeks during the summer in celebration of the Great American Summer. (10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily from June 22 through Aug. 4)

Dollywood is a one-stop-day-of-fun adventure park with so many many things to do and see. It's more than a vacation spot, it's an experience that you won't soon forget.
Dollywood has rides for those who love a thrill, like Barnstormer, Thunderhead, Tennessee Tornado, Daredevil Falls, Slidewinder, Blazing Fury, Sky Zip, Mystery Mine, and it's newest addition Wild Eagle.
If you need to cool off, you can definitely get soaked at Dreamland Forest, River Battle and Smoky Mountain River Rampage.
For those of you who love an old fashioned county fair, Dollywood's Country Fair will make you feel right at home with it's rides and games.
Dollywood proudly features it's master artisans and craftsmen, who demonstrate their fine skills including woodcarving, glass blowing, candle making, and much more. You can also purchase their goods, among many other things, from one of the park's 40 shopping locations.
If you enjoy live stage shows, Dollywood offers the best in Southern Gospel, bluegrass, country, 50's and 60's, and classic rock music at one of it's many theaters.
Food is plentiful at Dollywood. There are over 30 different eating venues scattered throughout the park; anything from fast food to full service dining.
Dollywood hosts 4 of the south's largest festivals between March and December-the Festival of Nations, KidsFest, National Southern Gospel and Harvest Celebration, and Smoky Mountain Christmas.
The Eagle Mountain Sanctuary gives visitors a rare look at Dollywood's birds of prey including the largest presentation of non-releasable bald eagles.
Don't forget to hop aboard the Dollywood Express, a 110-ton coal-fired steam engine, for a 5 mile ride through the Great Smoky Mountains countryside.
