New York's record-breaking pre-Halloween snow with more on the way has local fashionistas thinking about wet and cold weather footwear - nobody wants to forfeit good looks just because of Mother Nature's fickle behavior.
AQUASTOP is a new brand of wet-weather boots designed to accompany any outfit for any occasion. AQUASTOP’s first fall/winter line is comprised of 10 styles that update the traditional rain boot. Jessica Szohr, previously of the hit TV series Gossip Girl, has signed on to endorse AQUASTOP, which launched in all Kohl’s stores September 1st, 2011.
Szohr began her career as a model for Kohl’s while residing near the chain’s headquarters in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, where they are no strangers to Mother Nature's stormy moods. “They can be worn in all sorts of weather and still feel comfortable and fashionable at the same time,” says Szohr.
AQUASTOP was inspired by high-end rain boot brands that focus on both functionality and fashion to deliver the ideal shoe for all types of weather. The company sought to fill the void in the marketplace to supply the everyday family with an affordable alternative.
