Look for the little details at Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival

Sure, you can't miss the big topiaries at the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival (and in the case of the Sully topiary from "Monsters University," I mean BIG literally), but be on the lookout for the little details, too.

What do I mean by little details? It can be something as simple as finding butterflies among the flowers in the butterfly garden or noticing Peter Pan perched on high in the U.K. pavilion. But perhaps my favorite place for details is at the German pavilion in World Showcase.

You may already be familiar with the trains that navigate their tracks daily in Germany. When you visit the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival, take a close look at the little town in the train area and you'll see its having a festival of its own. Yes, those are cute little miniature banners and topiaries.

If you'd like to see what the mini festival looks like, check out the photo at the top of this article. It looks more impressive in person, when you get to see the level of detail firsthand. If you look closely, you'll see the banners on the light poles and notice Lotso, Woody, and Buzz in miniature topiary form.

The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival runs through May 19. Try to get to Walt Disney World to see it at both the beginning and end of its run, if possible, to see the changes in the gardens as the weather heats up.
