In these more novel generations of aggressive sinners filled with mighty arrogance, there is this rapid growth of denial and unbelief for Jesus. Why have people turned away from our Heavenly Father and His Son? What has made their hearts grow so cold? More importantly, does this depict you? Have you strayed farther and farther from God?
In Matthew 10:32-33: Jesus tells us that “whoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven”.
It is very easy to decide not to believe in anything greater than one’s self. There is this highly indefinite means by which to carry one’s self as if he or she is the center of all existence with nothing else above. Humans have this idea that they are the superior beings on earth, and perhaps in some ways they are. Humans do indeed have a strong sense of right and wrong unlike the plants and animals that share the earth together.
There is, however, another way to look at this notion. Humans may be the more complex and appear more superior to the plants and animals, but is this how we should be thinking about ourselves in such a self-righteous way? God created the plants and animals just as He did humans. We inhabit earth as one unit and therefore have great meaning to God. Humans are no better than the honeysuckle that grows wild, or the foxes that pervade the woodlands by dawn, or even the birds that chirp in the morning before the sun rises. Humans are no more beautiful than the boundless mountains in the West, or the prodigious seas in the East. Man is not stronger than the lion that guards his pride or the bear that protects her young.
People today, do not recognize true beauty or love for what they are. They neglect to listen to the words of truth given to us by Jesus. People hide their faces from God and focus on their own selfish endeavors. People do not include God in any school activities, or political operations, or career-related functions. Not once has someone got on the evening news and promoted our immediate need of prayer for our country. There is no promotion of God and Jesus. There was a time where it was the norm for families to attend church on Sunday mornings and have prayer in the school systems.
If there is an abundant of problems occurring nowadays, the blame should be geared towards ourselves. It is because of society that the global economy is at an all-time declination. It is due to us, that the job market and stocks are crashing. When people deject God and remove His from their hearts, God will do as the people wish. You live in a Godless existence; you will reap the penalties for doing so. The moment you invite evil in, there it will remain forever. Once evil is invited in, it will follow you wherever you go, leading you into a path of complete destruction and anguish.
It is good to choose your path wisely. For either path you decide to travel, will dictate how your life is carried out. Do you want a life of purpose and meaning, knowing the love of God will carry you through? Or maybe, you choose the path of darkness where you will never find the light, only confusion and desertion.
