Lonnie Hunter added to McDonald’s Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour

Great news for syndicated radio host Lonnie Hunter. The Stellar Award nominated recording artist has just been added to the lineup for the McDonald’s Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour. Hunter will appear or perform in each of the eleven remaining dates of the 14-city tour.

“This is an amazing opportunity to meet new people and showcase some great music,” says Hunter. “I wasn’t lobbying for this but God was looking out for me anyway and I can’t wait to get out there on the road and see the hilarious people who call into my radio show every day.”

The tour features gospel music luminaries such as Erica Campbell, Kurt Carr, The Mississippi Mass Choir, Anthony Brown & Group Therapy, Hip Hop artist Uncle Reece, organist Moses Tyson Jr. and comedian Jonathan Slocumb.

The nationally syndicated “The Lonnie Hunter Show” airs in afternoon drive on Radio One affiliate stations around the USA. After a stint in the U.S. Air Force, Hunter became a Luster Hair Care runway/print model and also founded the choir Structure that enjoyed a Top Ten hit with 2011’s CD “I’m Back” that featured the Billboard Hot Gospel Songs radio smashes “I’m Back” and “Anyway.”
