Attend a town hall meeting in your pajamas? That’s exactly what you can do tonight. On February 16, at 7 pm, the City of Longmont is hosting its first telephone town hall meeting and all Longmont residents are invited to participate.
At tonight’s meeting, residents will be asked to provide input on revised strategies that are proposed for inclusion in the City’s Focus on Longmont strategic plan update. Feedback will be considered by the Longmont City Council as they finalize how they will support Longmont's strategic direction over the next five years.
For those who would like to participate in person, the meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers at 350 Kimbark Street. For those who prefer to attend from the comfort of home, it's easy! Calls will be made to all Longmont residents this evening. If you want to participate, simply answer the phone and contribute your ideas. Residents can also call in at 1-888-886-6603, Ext. 17764#.
For more information on the Focus on Longmont strategic plan, please call the City Manager's Office at 303-651-8601.
Here are the questions residents will be asked at the Telephone Town Hall on Thursday, February 16.
