Good Day Readers! The biggest and the best experience phenominal growth in a phenominally short amount of time. When a new restaurant or bar is launched, opened, or reopened, it takes only a short time to determine whether or not that particular bar or restaurant will prevail or utterly fail. We understand that branding makes a big splash and the ripple effect goes a long way when the venue has a well known name nationally and a well established record nationally for a great experience in a well established environment nation wide. The 'heavy hitters' is what they can be referred to as without question. The rest of the contenders not on the national circuit and not well known to everyone would be the 'little guys'. The 'little guys' set up shop in the vicinity of the heavy hitters and compete for business. More often the 'little guys' set up shop next to each other and compete for business. Location, location, location is key to the success or failure of any bar or restaurant. The rest of the profit margin is up to the staff and the products sold to make it happen or sink the ship.
Happy Hour Typically, is in the late afternoon Monday through Thursday, usually taking place at some period between 2pm to 6pm, or 3pm to 7pm, or sometime within the early evening hours depending on location. Many venues operato outside the box of the normal hours and run not so typically, from 11am to 3pm, or 10pm until close or somewhere around there. The whole Happy Hour promotion is intended to boost business on what may otherwise be a slow day. In most cases the "happy hour" lasts longer than a single hour. The term also is commonly used to describe the gathering of work colleagues at a restaurant or bar after work hours, possibly outside the usual period. (The specifics usually differ from country to country. In some European countries like the Netherlands, the price of an alcoholic drink is regulated, and selling them at half price is prohibited. During happy hour, a customer gets double the amount of drinks instead. In Italy, a customer often pays the same price or even more for the drink but is offered free fingerfoods. In the United States it typically entails finger foods and discounted drinks)<site:Wikipedia>
Longhorn Steakhouse is a new kid on the block on Bell road in Surprise, Arizona. The location on Bell opened up early summer 2013, and as a major brand and many locations and growing, it is an impressive establishment and has an equally impressive menu. What Longhorn Steakhouse does not have is a Happy Hour event. No event at all. For whatever reason, Longhorn opts out of providing any type of Happy Hour experience. Compliments to the food, and compliments to a rave establishment. Maybe next year Longhorn Steakhouse will throw something together when they realize that it is a good thing to utilize the whole Happy Hour concept to bring 'em in and get 'em served. See you at the nex spot.
