Long snapper Cox re-signs with the Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens have also re-signed their long snapper.

The Ravens have agreed to a new deal with Morgan Cox for the next two years. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Cox has been with the Ravens as their long snapper for the past three seasons. And he will be with the Ravens for five years at the end of this contract, should he make it through the end of this deal.

He was a restricted free agent. However, the team elected not to extend him a contract through a tender offer right before the deadline.

Should the team have signed him to a tender, the original-round-right of first refusal would have been for one year at $1.32 million dollars.

Last season, he snapped the ball for 83 punts, 33 field goals, and 42 extra points. He also was used on special teams, where he made two special team tackles.
