Long restaurant 'week' in Binghamton area

Time doesn't stand still on the Binghamton restaurant scene. It just gets longer -- like the 10-day "restaurant week" scheduled to run from March 12 through March 21.

Special three-course lunches and dinners will be offered at 23 locally-owned restaurants. The lunches will be priced at $10, the dinners at $25 or less.

A portion of the proceeds from each Restaurant Week meal sold will be donated to The Boys and Girls Clubs of Binghamton.

Since its founding in March 2010 Binghamton Restaurant Week in six iterations has brought more than $1 million in Restaurant Week sales alone at the participating restaurants and resulted in more than $24,626 in donations to charity partners, including the Boys and Girls Clubs of Binghamton and C.H.O.W.
