A Long Island teenager was arrested Friday on murder charges after authorities said he killed a Patchogue man and shot three others during an alleged robbery at a Medford auto repair shop, Suffolk County police said March 7.

Brandon Davis, 19, of Bridgehampton, is expected to face a judge Saturday for arraignment on a second-degree murder charge in connection with the early morning Christmas Day shooting.

As Examiner.com reported, police said two masked men walked into Whitestar MTR, an auto repair and restoration business on Cedarhurst Avenue in Medford around 3:30 a.m. on Christmas Day. The two masked gunmen, cops said, demanded cash before unloading a barrage of gunfire.

Taliek Bristel, 19, of Patchogue, was shot and killed. Three others – two men and a woman – were also shot, but suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Homicide detectives said at the time that the victims were “social acquaintances.”

Police have not disclosed an alleged motive in the crime and provided no further details about the investigation when they announced Davis’ arrest late Friday.

Officials said an investigation is still ongoing and detectives are asking anyone with information to call the Suffolk County Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392 or anonymously call Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.

Davis will appear at First District Court in Central Islip for arraignment.
