Long Island Schools Guide: Publisher's Night at Sylvan Avenue

There's nothing better then reading an original book.  ZF Photography

On Tuesday, May 18 from 7pm to 8:30pm Sylvan Avenue Elementary School is having their annual Publisher's Night in the school gym.

All the students of the school participate in Publisher's Night by creating an original book that will be on display for everyone to read.  The children write and illustrate the books themselves.  A few students from each grade level have been selected to read their works aloud in the classrooms.  This literacy celebration is a great way for the student to show off their creativity.
