Long Island Restaurant Week extended by many Long Island eateries

The Long Island area was hit hard by Hurricane Sandy a couple of weeks ago and because of the extensive damage caused by the storm, many Long Islanders did not have a chance to check out the popular Long Island Restaurant Week. Well, a great number of restaurants are aware of this and are extending the special event to accommodate those who may not have had the chance to sample all of the delicious prix fixe menus offered during the occasion.

Diners who’ve either been unable to take advantage of or can’t get enough of the great dining deals at Long Island’s Restaurant Week will be treated to this fabulous special for another seven days or more. Though the official end to the highly successful Restaurant Week was Sunday, November 11th, many great eateries are extending their special $24.95, three-course prix fixe menus beyond. Check out some of the restaurants that are still celebrating:

Nassau County

Bella Notte, Bellmore

Luce Ristorante, East Norwich

Akbar Restaurant, Garden City

Milleridge Inn, Jericho

Davenports, Mineola

Suffolk County

Vero Italian Kitchen and Lounge, Amityville

Cooperidge Inn, Baiting Hollow

Almond, Bridgehampton

The Grill Room, Hauppauge

Ting Restaurant, Huntington

These are just ten of the many participating dining establishments participating in the extended Restaurant Week. Remember, Long Island’s Restaurant Week is an awesome event that gives diners a chance to enjoy some of the best of what Long Island restaurants have to offer at reasonable prices. Three-course, prix fixe menus are offered at $24.95 per person, every day that Restaurant Week runs, excluding Saturday evenings. If you haven’t had an opportunity to enjoy the dining discounts yet, there’s now even more time to get in on the dining action at these five fine dining establishments.

For a complete listing of all the restaurants that have extended their special prix fixe menus, check out Long Island Restaurant Week, and contact individual restaurants to see how long their specials will be offered.
