The 4th annual Long Island Pet Expo returns to Suffolk Community College beginning with Family Night March 1st from 4pm-9pm and continuing until March 3rd.
The event, which is expected to draw more than 10,000 people will feature an all new classic K9 dog show, dog agility demos, Frisbee dogs, a trick dog show, a dancing dog show, parade of breeds and a rain forest reptile show starring a rare white alligator and petting zoo. Plenty of vendors will also be on hand offering lots of pet items and supplies for sale as well as educational programs featuring pet professionals from Long Island and around the country.
Also new this year, animal rescue groups that are official non-profit organizations can have free space at the event offering the public information, education on responsible pet ownership and adoptable animals on site. Potential pet owners or those looking to add a new member to their families are encouraged to visit the Adoption Area.
Kids under 12 will be admitted for free on Family night only. Tickets for March 2 (10am-7pm) and March 3 (10am-5pm) are $12 for adults, $5 for kids 11 and under, free 3 and under. Reminder, the expo is for human attendees only!
