Friday, Feb. 3, Long Beach Mardi Gras will hold this year's Mardi Gras celebration in conjunction with the monthly Bixby Knolls First Fridays Art Walk. There will be a Mardi Gras parade led by Mardi Gras Queen Rae Gabelich (Long Beach City Council member, 8th District) and Mardi Gras King James Johnson (Long Beach City Council member, 7th District). There will be fun, music, dancing, and plenty of Mardi Gras beads at the giant street party to which the entire city and their friends sre invited. invited.
Of course, one of the best parts of a party is the food. Bixby Knolls eateries will be serving up some very special Mardi Gras food and drinks this Friday.

Nino's will host the after hours post parade Mardi Gras Party starting and 10:00 pm and lasting until everyone tires our and goes home. They will have a special MardiGras menu, Hurricanes, and King Cake.
