Lone Buffalo Vineyards in Auburn: New Year, New Location!

The Maddux family is proud to announce that the move to their new tasting room is almost complete and a soft opening is planned for this week. Beginning Friday, January 11, visitors may now enjoy the new and greatly expanded tasting room at 7505 Wise Road in Auburn. This is a soft opening, a grand opening celebration, buffalo style, is planned for the spring.

"The support of our loyal customers and all our "Friends of the Herd" has brought us to this exciting new stage in our winery business. Those who have helped us pick, crush and bottle over the years know first hand that we have been plain out of room for quite a spell now!" says Jill Maddux.

The 12 acre property on Wise Road provides far more space for additional vineyard plantings, a new winery, larger tasting room and picnic area. This new property is part of a larger parcel of historic farmland in Placer County (the Historic J.V. Ranch) which is still owned by the same family that started farming pears and other fruit over six generations ago.
