London's Dungeon CD release party at Trees this weekend

The Fort Worth based band London's Dungeon is having their long awaited official CD release show for "Lies of a Different Kind" this Friday night, April 25, when Trees hosts the Dallas Metal Scene Showcase. This CD represents much of this band's origins, when they were brought together at a time that they were all in a bleak, dark place, trying to recover from failed relationships. Each was searching for new meaning in their lives. Songs from the new album can be heard on reverbnation.

London's Dungeon is made up of frontman Paul London, Troy Knight on guitar, Roy Pellerin on drums, and Aaron Lee on bass. If you are are at all familiar with this band, you might recognize Aaron as being a new member; some of you may have known him as "Angel", former bassist for the Gypsy Pistoleros.

Many of you may be wondering about this change, and what brought about the departure of bassist Pierce VR. In an interview with drummer Roy Pellerin, it was explained as an amicable split, but Pierce simply no longer shared the same vision for the band as the others, and wanted to pursue other endeavors.

London's Dungeon will be returning to Rocklahoma next month; playing this festival has become an annual tradition. This year they will be performing at the Campground After-party on July 24.

You can purchase LD merchandise here, and of course at their upcoming show at Trees. Some of the items offered on the website are the new CD, t-shirts, bracelets, koozies, and buttons.
