The famed festival Lollapalooza, which takes place in Grant Park located in Chicago is offering one person a V.I.P trip to the festival.
The festival has been a part of Chicago since its first inception in 1991. Three days of top notch talent graces the stage at Lollapalooza each year and now they want to open the arena up to graphic designers.
The contest, titled "2013 Lollapalooza T-Shirt Contest", invites aspiring graphic designers to submit t-shirt designs for the festival and the submissions need to embrace the artistic culture, community and music of Lollapalooza. The winner of this contest will have their design placed on t-shirts and sold as merchandise at the festival.
According to the website, Talenthouse.com, the winner will also receive:
- Two VIP Passes to Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago, IL from August 2-4, 2013.
- Sale of their shirt at the Festival, online and at the LollaShop pop-up store.
- Featured placement in both the online store and LollaShop, along with a biography and/or link to other work.
- Social media exposure through all of Lollapalooza Blog, Facebook and Twitter.
A People's Choice Award will be given to the t-shirt that receives the highest votes. This award includes two general admissions to Lollapalooza and social media exposure for their design.
Interested graphic designers can submit their t-shirt design no later than March 8, 2013. Voting begins on March 9, 2013 and runs through March 16, 2013. Winners will be announced on March 19, 2013. For more detailed information, people can visit www.lollapalooza.com.
