Do your kids watch LazyTown? My daughter, a regular Noggin fan (well, now it's Nick Jr., but we still call it Noggin at my house), watches LazyTown on a regular basis. It's a bright, colorful show that, in my opinion, can be a little wierd, but hey, the techno music grabs April's attention, so I guess I can't complain.
I had to laugh, however, when today I saw on Google that "LOL Limewire" was trending. Of course, I had heard of Limewire, but was wondering why this particular phrase was "on fire" on Google's search trends. Well, I found out why.
Go ahead--go to Google, type in LOL Limewire, and click "I'm feeling lucky." You'll get a crazy flash animation of some dancing pirates dancing to a pirate song--which I instantly recognized as one of my daughter's favorite shows--LazyTown!
Yup, LazyTown makes a huge debut on the internet in, quite possibly, the weirdest way possible. What is the meaning behind the LOL Limewire movie? Apparently, it is supposed to be a type of parody on the fact that Limewire was recently sued for piracy issues. Piracy / Pirate -- get it? And the lyrics of the song nail it on the head, and make it that much funnier:

Although I'm not the biggest LazyTown fan, I can't help but laugh that a children's show from Nick Jr. has a song that is used in a big internet fad. Made me giggle. Of course, LOL Limewire will probably be old news in a day, and 99% of the world will have no idea where the LOL Limewire pirate song came from, but so be it. In the meantime, I'm gonna have a good laugh. ;)

I'm in Adelaide South Australia and my 19 year old son raced out of his room on Thusrday evening (away from HIS computer!) to tell my 16 year old daughter what to type in for a laugh. Catchy tune, and making a point re: piracy accusations...
I guess it's sticking around! My friends and I can't get it out of our heads recently! Didn't know it came from Lazytown as, clearly, I don't watch it. It's very annoying. But the lol limewire thing is cool as my sister and I both laugh so much when all those pirate things scroll across the screen! :)
I didn't know until it came on tv this morning when my little sister was watching it! Me and my older sister burst out laughing!!!

you all just had to kill the joy of us teens.. everyone at my school seen it and we all laughed.. we don't know why we just ended up bursting out laughing. but me and my friends will still watch it no matter where it came from..

Everytime I am feeling down I type it in google, click I'm feeling lucky and I smile instantly as the crazy pirates scroll across the screen. Definitely is one of the catchiest tunes out there apart from the Chuggington theme song and the MICK-EY- MOUSE CLUB-HOUSE song. Oh and don't forget the "WHO LIVES IN A PINEAPPLE UNDER THE SEA".

Of course this is not a first occurence of Lazy Town in the internet. For a while there were gifs all over the web with so called "pedobear" adventures based on Lazy Town. But thanks for solving the mistery of the girl in pink...a lot of people have been wondering where did she came from.
