With “incompetent” lawyer in tow, Lindsay Lohan showed up before a judge for her criminal case.
According to TMZ, Lindsay Lohan is upset at the media because they called her lawyer, Mark Heller, incompetent. Lohan claims, “It’s all lies!”
Judge James Dabney dubbed Heller as incompetent to practice law in California. The judge continued on and told Lindsay that he will order her to court for the next hearing to tell him why she would waive her right to an attorney who knows how to defend her properly. Lindsay ignored the judge’s brutally honest comments.
Lohan’s father, Michael Lohan, offered to cover the cost of a new attorney for Lindsay. The troubled Lohan turned down her father’s offer and continued to work with Heller.
Lohan has 12 days to change her options. Her trial is on the 18th and if her attorney messes things up for her, Lindsay could end up in jail for months.
If a judge informs you your attorney is incompetent, it may be time to wake up and listen.
